However, to ensure a stress-free and financially savvy holiday season, I’m thrilled to introduce the perfect companion for your festivities – the Festive Lights Christmas Planner!

This printable gem is designed to bring order to your holiday expenses, helping you plan and manage your budget with ease. Let’s unwrap the joy of stress-free celebrations with the features and benefits of this indispensable Christmas budget planner.

Benefits of Having a Christmas Budget Planner

The holiday season can come with extra expenses that we don’t see during the rest of the year so it can be helpful to have a separate Christmas budget from you November and December budget. You still want to work within your means of your normal budget but your Christmas budget will give you a more detailed breakdown.

Having an undated printable planner like the Festive Lights Christmas Planner is a low-cost investment that can be used each year. It is an instant download you can use right away.

Since it is a digital download that also gives you the flexibility to use only the pages you want.

Not a Christmas card sender like myself? No problem! Don’t print those pages!

Send Christmas cards to everyone you know? Great! Print multiple pages of the Christmas Cards pages and track everyone on your list.

Pages Included in the Christmas Budget Planner PDF

The Festive Lights Christmas Planner is not just a Christmas budget printable, it also includes other planning sheets for the entire season.

The planner is divided in 3 sections:

Budget & Gift Tracker

The first section will guide you through budgeting for Christmas and keep track of all the gifts.

  • Christmas Fund Tracker – A fun coloring sheet that can be used all year to track your Christmas sinking fund.
  • Budget Sheet – Gives you a quick breakdown of each category such as gifts, food, fun, decorations, gift wrap, etc.
  • Gift Tracker Sheets – A combination sheet where you can track the gift recipient, what the gift is, budget, actual money spent and checkbox when it’s wrapped.  Subsections include pages for kids, family, friends and Miscellaneous.
  • Expense Tracker – List all the other expenses made by category that aren’t gifts.
  • Gift Ideas – Brainstorm sheet to write gift ideas on before purchasing.

Schedule & Things To Do

The holidays can feel hectic so it helps to have a place to list all the important dates and things you want to get done as well as fun things too!

  • Undated November and December Monthly Calendars – These sheets will be helpful to list all the important festivities.  They are undated so you can use them each year!
  • Today’s Plan – Daily schedule sheets to plan your day.  Includes to-do lists and hourly schedule blocks.
  • Christmas Eve Schedule & Christmas Day Schedule – Similar to the Today’s Plan sheets.
  • Bucket List – Write down all the fun activities and places to visit during the season.  If you have children, ask them what they would like to do too!
  • Favorite TV Shows and Movies List – Don’t miss your favorite holiday show!

Printing and Binding Tips

Printing the Christmas Planner

The Christmas Planner is a 36 page PDF that can be used each year.  The colors are bright and unique – not your traditional red and green.

The festive lights bordering the top of each page keep it fun to look at.

I’m all about double sided printing to save paper!  I set up the pages so they flow nicely when printed double sided – except for the title page and section dividers.

3 Ways to Bind the Planner

  1. Nothing fancy – Just use a clip.
  2. Keep it simple – 3 hole punch and this 1/2 inch binder or folder.
  3. My favorite – I love the discbound notebooks because you can easily add and remove pages.  This Discbound Notebook Poly Covers and 11 disc set is perfect because I can see my title page.  If you already have a letter size discbound notebook or planner  (like the Happy Planner) it would work there too.  You will need a discbound hole punch if you don’t have one already.

To take your planner to next level organization I also suggest using Post-It Tabs. You can use them for each section or to quickly find your most used pages.
